For old style GPS systems without the full UK postcode facility, try entering Howgare Road, Broad Chalke. This road is shown on some digital maps but there are no road signs.
Take the A354 (Blandford) and travel for 8 miles (13km) until joining a stretch of dual carriageway (4 lane highway). Turn right at the only crossroads (for Broad Chalke). Travel for 1 mile up the hill. You will see our sign on the right, from which Lodge Farmhouse is 300 metres along a lane. It is clearly marked. We advise visitors NOT to take an earlier right turn to Broad Chalke in the village of Coombe Bissett.
Take the A354 ( Salisbury) and travel approx. 14 miles. Then 1 mile after Woodyates you will join a stretch of dual carriageway prepare to turn left (Broad Chalke) and travel 1 mile through a wood up the hill. You will see our signs on the right, from which Lodge Farmhouse is 300 metres along a lane. It is clearly marked.
Take the Bishopstone road from the traffic lights on the A30 in the town square. Travel for 3 miles out of the town through a wide avenue and then downhill to a T junction. Turn right to Broad Chalke and travel through the long village of Bishopstone. From the White Hart pub travel for 1mile until the Broad Chalke village sign is seen. Turn left immediately after it (signed to the school) passing over the river bridge. Continue for 1/3 mile until a signpost directs you straight on to Martin and Blandford. Travel for 2 miles over the hill through an intermittent avenue of trees. Immediately after the only house on the left, our sign will guide you the 300 metres to Lodge Farmhouse which is clearly marked.
Take the A30(Salisbury) for approximately 14 miles after which take turning right to Broad Chalke. Travel to that village (4 miles). Once in the village, turn right at the Queen s Head. Travel 200 metres bearing left on a sharp bend (to Martin& Blandford) then 150 metres to T junction where you should turn right (Martin & Blandford) Travel for 2 miles over the hill through an intermittent avenue of trees. Immediately after the only house on the left our sign will guide you the 300 metres to Lodge Farmhouse which is clearly marked.
